Florida continues its five-game homestand, playing host to Marshall on Sunday at 1 p.m. at Exactech Arena at the Stephen C. O’Connell Center.
The game will be the first meeting between the two programs.
It is the first of at least 11 games scheduled to be televised on SEC Network this season.
After Sunday’s game, the Gators will take an 11-day break because of final exams and return to action playing host to the Gator Holiday Classic, Dec. 21-22

A Glance at Marshall
- Junior Shayna Gore, who leads the Herd in scoring (17.8 ppg), came off the bench in the team’s last game – a 73-68 win over Morgan State during which Gore scored a game-high 26 points and became the 21st player in program history to reach the 1,000-career point plateau.
- Gore is a potent three-point shooter, connecting on 22-52 (42.3%) this year. She also connects on 89.7 percent (26-29) of her free throw attempts.

What Just Happened
- Florida committed a season-high 24 turnovers that No. 12 Ohio State converted into 42 points and took the 103-77 decision on Wednesday.
- Florida trailed by 20 with 2:54 remaining in the second quarter, but staged a 25-11 run over the next 7:52 and the Gators were within six points, 60-54, with 5:02 left in the third. The final points of that spree coming on a four-point-play by Paulina Hersler.
- Ohio State countered with a 16-4 march over the next 4:06 of the game and took a 76-59 lead into the final quarter, where the Buckeyes outscored the Gators 27-18 for the final margin.
