Justin McClelland returns to the Florida Gators as a strength and conditioning coordinator after spending the 2016-17 season at East Carolina University where he trained the Pirate’s men’s basketball team.
McClelland spent the 2015-16 campaign in Gainesville, working under Preston Green, the Gator men’s team’s strength and conditioning coordinator. In addition to training with the men’s hoops squad and Green, McClelland also implemented programs for the men’s tennis and men’s golf teams.
McClelland replaces Tyler Stuart, who resigned to take the men’s basketball strength and conditioning coordinator position at the University of New Mexico.

Responsibilities: Designs and implements year-round strength, speed and conditioning workouts for the Gator women’s basketball, women’s tennis and women’s golf teams; guides each student-athlete through an individual training program designed to enhance strength as well as explosive power, speed, agility, endurance, coordination, balance and flexibility.
