Gators are No. 11 Seed at SEC Tournament

Florida will be the No. 11 seed at the 2018 Southeastern Conference Women’s Basketball Tournament that will be held at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee, February 28-March 4.

Florida finished in a three-way tie with Arkansas and Vanderbilt for 11th in the final regular-season standings and earned the tiebreak over the two after defeating both head-to-head this year.

The Gators will play No. 14 seed Ole Miss on Wednesday at approximately 2:25 p.m. ET/1:25 p.m. CT. There will be a 25-minute break following the Vanderbilt-Arkansas game that tips-off at 12 p.m. ET/11 a.m. CT.

 

Florida vs. Ole Miss: The Series

• 38-Game Series: UF leads 21-17 (UF Home: 9-10; Away: 12-6; Neutral: 0-1)
• This year: Florida and Ole Miss met twice during the regular season, with each winning on its home court in thrilling fashion. The Rebels took the 78-75 double-overtime win on January 7 in Oxford before the Gators won 61-60 on January 21 in Gainesville.
• SEC Tournament: this will be the first meeting between Florida and Ole Miss at the SEC Tournament
