Florida holds a 7-3, 0-0 SEC record, and Michigan stands at 9-2, 1-0 in the Big Ten Conference.

SERIES RECORD AND HISTORY:
Michigan currently leads the all-time series over Florida 2-0. The two teams played each other in back-to-back years, with the Gators being defeated in both the 2011 and 2012 contests.
The Gators most recent matchup with the Wolverines dates back to 2012 where Michigan took a 59-53 win in Ann Arbor. Prior to the December 2012 matchup, Florida was defeated by Michigan in November of 2011 at home in Gainesville. The final score was 69-66 with Florida falling by three in the program’s initial matchup against Michigan.
FLORIDA’S LAST TIME OUT:
Florida is coming off a large win against Gardner-Webb, hitting their first 100+ game of the season on Sunday. The Gators had a 78-point margin of victory setting the program record with six players in double figures for scoring, their most of the 2023-24 season. Florida also secured two double-doubles and was led overall by Aliyah Matharu with 22 points, followed by Alberte Rimdal with a 20-point game.

Michigan (9-2, 1-0 Big Ten), is coming to the Jumpman Invitational off a 75-49 win over Miami of Ohio on Dec. 16. In their most recent contest, Michigan was led by Elissa Brett with 27 points, but overall the Wolverines only have one player averaging in double figures for the 2023-24 season, Laila Phelia (14.7 ppg).
