BCC members, if you haven’t already, take a few minutes to sign our “big faces” at the club table just inside Gate 1 before the game. The game starts at 3:30pm. As there are a number of events occurring on campus Sunday and parking may be limited near the O’Dome, a shuttle service is being provided to and from the commuter parking lot on Lemerand Drive. “On Sunday, with Gator baseball wrapping up its series against Cal State Fullerton at 1 p.m. and Gator women’s basketball hosting nationally-ranked Georgia at 3:30 p.m. in its Play4Kay game, the shuttle service will again be in operation from the commuter lot on Gale Lemerand Drive beginning at 12 p.m.

The buses will stop at the corner of Gale Lemerand Drive and Stadium Road near Gate 2 of the Oâ€Connell Center for access to the womenâ€s basketball game. Fans heading to the baseball game can enter through the south gate at the Lemerand Center adjacent to McKethan Stadium. The shuttles will run for 30 minutes following the conclusion of the event which is completed last.”

4. The coaches’ autographed basketball will be raffled off to a lucky BCC member!
5. Raffle tickets for “Dinner with Coach Butler” will continue to be sold until Feb 23.

GatorTown Gators President Phil Clark presenting BCC member Cindy Flowers with Spirit of Service Award

BCC member Cindy Flowers was awarded the “Spirit of Service Award” by the GatorTown Gators during their Annual Awards Banquet on January 9, 2012. Cindy was nominated for her committment, hard work and dedication to the Gator Backcourt Club and to the Florida Women’s Basketball program.

As a member of the BCC since its infancy, Cindy has selflessly dedicated her time and energy to making the club a success. Her service to the BCC has been, and continues to be, significant. We are thrilled that she has been recognized for her hard work. Cindy is the first BCC member to win this award. Congratulations Cindy!

The Gator Backcourt Club was well represented by a number of members and Janna Magette was there representing Coach Butler and staff. Thank you to all who came out to celebrate Cindy’s achievement.

The Gator BackCourt Club is selling raffle tickets for dinner with Coach Butler to raise money for BCC events. The tickets are $5 each or 5 chances for $20. Buy as many chances as you want.
